Understand Insurance

Research published by the Victorian government in 2017, estimated just 46 per cent of Victorian households have enough insurance to recover from a disaster, with 28 per cent under-insured and 26 per cent having no insurance.

Make sure you understand what coverage you have, as well as any exclusions or limits that may be a part of your insurance policy.

For more information visit Understand Insurance, an initiative of the Insurance Council of Australia. It can help you make better decisions about your general insurance and the information they provide is impartial.
